The HF4Plus high-feed milling system from the Sorma Indexable Tools - Nikko line is designed to reduce cycle times and improve process efficiency in ISO P, M, K, and S material applications. It is highly versatile, suitable for profiling, contouring, linear and helical ramping, pocketing, and plunge milling. The 4-cutting-edge square inserts feature multi-curve profiles that enhance system strength and reliability. They are available in sizes 07, 10, 12, and 15, with a wide selection of CVD or PVD coated carbide grades.

The following insert geometries are available for the Sorma HF4Plus system:

• the new SE geometry, features reduced cutting forces, specifically designed for high-feed milling of ISO M and ISO S materials.
• GP (General Purpose), covers the majority of applications.
• SC (Smooth Cut), the ideal solution for soft steel, preventing chip welding.
• TE (Tough Edge), featuring a robust cutting edge, specifically for cast iron or high-hardness steels.
