The composites industry is quickly growing thanks to the growing demand for light and resistant materials. Glass, carbon and kevlar fibres are materials increasingly used in the automotive, aerospace and wind power sectors, as well as in the more traditional naval sector. Sorma has been working alongside the sector for decadessupporting the and has accumulated significant experience in the processing of composite materials with diamond tools, including the historic partnership for the construction of the Moro di Venezia 1, a boat designed for the America's Cup.
