Seventy five years. For us at Sorma, it’s much more than just a number. It’s a milestone marked by innovation, strategic partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Sorma’s story began as a dream in Venice, where we took our first steps with diamond tools for Murano glass artworks. Since then, we have come a long way, driven by passion, dedication, and a constant desire to grow.
We were among the first to introduce diamond cloths to the Italian market, we have built a strong partnership with the Japanese company Yamawa now approaching its 40th year, and we have taken our commitment to quality beyond Italy’s borders, with Sorma Group subsidiaries in France, Spain, and Germany. We’re proud to be recognized as trusted distributors of Kyocera and to have created our own brands, Osawa and Nikko Tools, which reflect our dedication to excellence.
2025 marks a turning point: we are launching our first-ever Sorma-branded catalog, featuring a selection of Nikko Tools and Osawa products for the metal cutting industry. At the same time, we are introducing a fresh new look to represent our identity.
Over these 75 years, we’ve learned that trust is what matters most: the trust our clients place in us, the trust we place in our team, and the trust that guides us in everything we do.
